Red Bag of Joy

Check out Red Bag of Joy
My parents started giving back to the community way back 1983. First, it was just toys and food for the kids but after 25 years, and with the help of some friends, it has grown to include old clothes, food and other goodies for the entire family.
The Red Bag was added just this Holiday season and it was a concept made by one of our anonymous contributors . I think it’s the perfect branding for this simple gift-giving. My sister completed the name and formed Red Bag of Joy. Red is very much associated with Christmas, and the vibrance makes the bags stand out from the background.
We do not have much, but by giving back, by helping the poorest of the poor, by participating at Red Bag of Joy – it reminds us how lucky and blessed we are.
Milan and Her Wardrobe
Milan just got her own wardrobe and she’s proud of it.

I didn’t get my own, until I was in high school. I’m happy for her.
Thanks to mommy!
Don’t you love how innocent children are?
Sharing my conversation with the kids this morning, after watching Ratatouille (for the nth time):
Audrey: Dad, is Gusteau back?
Me: No, Gusteau is in heaven.
Audrey: Why is he not back from heaven?
Me: Because when somebody goes to heaven, he doesn’t go back.
Milan: But Aslan went back from heaven! (Aslan from the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe)
Me: That’s magic Milan. Aslan has magic.
Sometimes, it’s not foolish to believe in magic.
